Gaming Does an IMdB

BBC News reports on Gamers creating a web record of the history of innovation in the gaming industry.

The Game Innovation database ( aims to keep records of when important milestones in gaming innovation took place - like the first time a joystick was supported - so that they don't get lost in time.

I think it's pretty neat, I only wish that it was simply for all the games ever created - now that would be interesting, specially if they had a family tre of video games so you could track creators and studios and platforms throughout their gaming lifetimes.
